Manipulation

Restore normal joint mobility

Manipulation is a technique that involves quick, light, and specific movements designed to restore normal mobility in joints where movement capability is reduced. The technique is used, for example, in the treatment of the neck and lower back. By gently but firmly manipulating a joint, mobility can be increased and pain relieved. This technique is always performed with great precision and after careful assessment of the patient's condition.

What to expect

During a manipulation treatment, you may expect to hear a clicking or popping sound as the joint moves. This is completely normal and is caused by gas formation in the joint fluid. The treatment is typically not painful, and many patients experience immediate relief after treatment.
